Kalyan Prasad Khandelwal is an aspiring zoologist currently pursuing his Master of Science in Zoology at MDS University, Ajmer and is simultaneously enrolled in a Diploma in Basics of Ornithology through the Department of Environmental Science at MDS University.
Kalyan has developed strong field skills, particularly in bird identification and field survey techniques, gained through hands-on training and research projects. His academic pursuits are complemented by active research involvement, including projects like the study of biotic components of a seasonal waterbody in the Central Aravalli Foothills and an ongoing investigation into the diversity of odonates in Ajmer.
Kalyan has presented his research on avian vulnerability to plastic pollution at the Wetland Day Conference organized by his university.
