Muskan Singh is a dedicated and enthusiastic scholar in the field of Zoology, currently pursuing her Master of Science degree at the Department of Zoology, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, Rajasthan. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Government Girl's College, Ajmer, and has recently completed a Diploma Course in Basics of Ornithology. Her academic journey is complemented by strong practical skills, including report writing, laboratory techniques, wildlife photography, bird identification, and field observation, along with proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Muskan has contributed to avian research, with a project on the "Distribution Modelling of Painted Sandgrouse (Pterocles indicus) in Arid and Semi-arid Zones of India." She has co-authored a research publication titled "First Breeding Record and Photographic Documentation of the Indian Pitta (Pitta brachyura) in Ajmer, Rajasthan". Additionally, she presented her research on the functional diversity of birds in flooded farmlands during a symposium on the conservation of wetlands, where she earned the Best Poster Presentation award.
Beyond academics and research, Muskan has received the RS-CIT certification in Information Technology and participated as a volunteer in the Asian Waterfowl Census (AWC) 2025 at Sambhar Lake, contributing to global waterbird survey and conservation efforts. She is proficient in both Hindi and English, enabling her to engage effectively in diverse scientific and fieldwork settings.
