Pooja Tak is a dynamic and detail-oriented environmental professional with a strong academic background and practical experience in environmental monitoring, pollution control, and sustainability practices. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, she has previously completed her M.Sc. (Environmental Science) and Postgraduate Diploma (Industrial Safety and Health). Her early academic foundation is in Computer Science and Engineering, holding a Bachelor of Technology degree.Â
Pooja gained hands-on experience as a Scientific Trainee at the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Regional Office (Kishangarh), where she was actively involved in environmental data collection and analysis related to air, noise, and water quality. She conducted field visits to industrial and urban sites, contributed to research on pollution control policies. Her work also included practical involvement in laboratory procedures.
She has enhanced her expertise through certified training programs conducted by CSIR-NEERI on Environmental Impact Assessment and Water Quality Testing and Data Management. In addition to this, Pooja has presented research at academic symposia and attended various workshops focusing on wetland conservation, applied chemistry, and advanced soil work. Her research interests are reflected in her studies on lentic ecosystems in Rajasthan.
With core competencies in environmental monitoring and analysis, pollution regulation, laboratory and field testing, and research interpretation, Pooja combines technical proficiency with a genuine commitment to improving environmental quality and promoting sustainable development.
